Infecction Free & First Fill

Six weeks after my surgery my port incision became infected. I have been on antibiotics for two weeks and the infection is gone and I was able to get my first fill today! My doctor numbs the area and it did not hurt at all! I was able to drink a bottle of Water before I left and of course I am on liquids until tomorrow. So excited and ready for this next stage of my lapband journey!

Congrats! How did u know it was infected? I read that a few times on the forum and didn't realize it was so common

My incision became really inflamed and was oozing a little bit. I was so scared they were going to have to take the port out and then put it back in later. Thankfully it looks like the meds worked!
