kindheart 0 Posted January 16, 2013 If your band has slipped; the smallest amount of Water will not stay down. If it has happened, it is usually when the band is new (learning how to eat). I did not have mine slip. it could have or came close. My doctor, said surgery was the only way to fix it. I would have to pay for the surgery. That scared me. I very slowly took sips of liquid. Increased liquid slowly. Slow process. Got back to regular eating eventually. I never wanted it to happen again. Terrible feeling. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
