Marie485 0 Posted April 12, 2006 I need some recipes for Protein Shakes. I have tried only one and didn't like it and now I have not had any since Feb. I need to get my Protein and I'm not doing good. So if anyone has a good way to mix injury Protein Powder with please let me know. Thanks:paranoid
cashley 0 Posted April 13, 2006 I used to work at a gym and we made shakes for the weight lifters... they were delcious.. 2 - 3 scoops of frozen strawberries (about like an ice cream scoop size) 1/2 banana 1 cup ice 1 scoop of Protein powder 1/2 cup skim milk Blend in a strong ice crushing blender! It's pretty tasty and refreshing! We got the frozen strawberries by the gallon at sams club
lawdawg18 0 Posted April 13, 2006 I mix skim milk, Protein powder, frozen fruit, some ice cubes, and a scoop of yogurt into a Protein Drink for the wife. They are very good!! We use EAS Protein from GNC or the Vitamin store.
Carlene 12 Posted April 13, 2006 I hated every Protein mix I tried, so I stick with Slim Fast powder. The new one is low carb. I add skim milk, crushed ice, and a scoop of Knox Bone and Joint Powder (extra protein). Then I whiz the whole thing in my Magic Bullet. If you like a sweeter drink, add some Equal. willowbas 0 Posted April 13, 2006 A Favorite Summertime Shake: 3/4 c. light cranberry cocktail 1 orange, peeled 1/2 banana opt. any berry that would fit in (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry) 1 carton vanilla sf/ff yogurt nutmeg (just a sprinkle) ice Whir in the blender. You could add extra Protein powder (maybe vanilla flavor). This is a great blend and go drink! :gluck:

fiveholts714 0 Posted April 14, 2006 I use the Protein Shakes from costco and add the Unjury unflavored powder
ReneBean 3 Posted April 14, 2006 I found that the unjury powder was very icky. My best bet for Protein powder is Carb Solutions Meal Replacement powder (Safeway/TomThumb) or something called Six Star that I get at Walmart. Either one is quite palatable mixed with anything. I use vanilla and chocolate, depending on what I am mixing with. If you start with better tasting Protein Powder, the shakes will be more doable. Good Luck!
