6 Days!

I am 6 days away from my actual surgery date:) I am so excited. I have been on the liquid diet since the 2nd. I will say I have cheated once (on day 3 or 4) ...2 bites of chicken casserole, I felt so guilty afterwards I wanted to cry. I have stuck to it religiously besides the one weak moment. My family has eaten as usual & I have even went through fast food lanes & grabbed them food. I stayed focus by reminding myself that if the end result of eating is being satisfied then choose the Protein Shake or broth instead of cheating & being unhealthy. I still have hunger pangs at times but am learning that many of those are short lived. I learned through Weight Watchers that a craving only lasts 5-10 minutes so change your focus & the craving will pass. I will remain on the liquid diet for 7-10 days post op in order for my body to heal. I will then be released for soft foods. I am getting more excited with each passing day!!! I am down 10 lbs in 9 days & I know this is just the beginning!

Congrats on your big step. To date I am down 166 pounds. 5 years ago today I had my surgery and have never looked back. Stick to the PLAN. It works, if you want it to work! Always here if you need support or need to chat. FB @ Wayne Van Raden..... STICK TO IT! You will again Love Your-self!
