To tell or not to tell......

Recommended Posts

I have made a personal choice not to tell anyone other than my husband of course. I don't discuss my weight problem seriously with many people and feel that it is something that I want to keep private for now.

There are some things in life that I am willing to share with friends and co workers and others that I want to keep to myself.

As time goes on who knows what will change however I am living in my moment of today.

Keep it quiet until you are ready. And maybe, that may be never. Just be careful not to get caught in a lie. Do like chez said, everything true, so no trouble later.

Good luck!!

It is a personal choice. i chose to tell everyone I worked with and all my family and friends. Today when people ask how I lost weight, I say with a lot of hard work and LapBand.

I didnt keep it a secret from family or co-workers. Although Im still a newbie I have not had any negative feedback. I actually needed some advice before having the surgery and some of my co-workers are good friends. Many co-workers are very interested in my journey. In fact another co-worker is in the process of getting surgery herself. We went to our lap-band siminar together. Good Luck with your choice.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
