Al_Winter 1 Posted January 7, 2013 So I hope someone can help me! I was banded in August 2011 and I am down about 60lbs. However, I haven't been able to lose anymore weight and I don't know why. I've been going to the gym 3-4 days a week for the last 2 months and I haven't seen the scale drop?? I've been wearing my fat burning watch to monitor my heart rate to see if I am in my fat burning zone but sometimes I feel that when I'm in my "fat burning zone" I don't get that good of a workout? Any opinions?!
Kime-lou 648 Posted January 7, 2013 Remember that when you are working out a lot you build muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, so you could be losing fat and gaining muscle and the scales not changing.
honk 780 Posted January 7, 2013 I would say you need to do 7 days a week. At least 30 minutes.
gldngrrl 70 Posted January 8, 2013 The fat burning zone is a bit of a myth. I'd say aim for a higher intensity workout , within what is safe and comfortable for you.
dee1130 19 Posted January 8, 2013 When you work out to the same routines your body gets used to it. Try changing up your excersize routine. Maybe add a Zumba class or an aqua fit class to change up your methods (: 1 gldngrrl reacted to this
