lookingup 0 Posted April 12, 2006 I am feeling so naseaus today--this morning I ate too much cottage cheese (two weeks out, I was just so excited to be off of soup!) What can i do for naseau (that's legal?) I really do feel terrible--I THINK it's because I ate too much cottage cheese, but maybe I'm sick....I don't have a fever......:omg:
omamoon 0 Posted April 12, 2006 Try some over-the-counter motion sickness medication (Dramamine). I don't think there is anything that really stops the nausea itself. The trick is to get really sleepy and it gets better. That's even what the scrip meds do. Good Luck!
Bensmum1109 0 Posted April 12, 2006 Ask your doctor for Reglan or drink some Decaf green tea...
Jessiebear 2 Posted April 12, 2006 You might ask for phenergan suppositories also. You really don't need to vomit! Call ASAP!!
Morsaille 4 Posted April 12, 2006 An almost instant cure? Ginger! You can boil root slices for tea, or eat ginger chews (let them dissolve in your mouth, DON"T swallow chunks of candy!) What worked best for me was fresh ginger slices. I just kept them close all the time and when needed would tuck one into my cheek sucking on it when I felt brave. This works for morning sickness, travel sickness, or the stomach flu. You can find the fresh, tan, bumply root in grocery stores produce section. It can taste strong, but will grow on you when it works! No more nausea!
