My dr try everything not to have another

Surgery but it didn't work so they removed the

Port & next Friday I'm having 3rd surgery

To put in a new port

How long were you out of work when they removed the port? I am so scared that i am going to have to have it removed. She said that if they did, it would stay our for 3 months and then go back a replace it. I haven't told anyone at work that I had the surgery. Not sure how I would explain having 2 more surgeries!

Lucky me I'm a mom at home so I didn't lose any work days .

My dr told me that they can put back the port 6 weeks after it was removed but since Nyu didn't do any surgery because of hurricane sandy I had to wait a little longer ...

My friends also didn't know abaut my band I just told them I had hernia surgery second time I told them I had some complications & now what do I say now?

I had an issue with my incision a few weeks out. It turned out not to be infected but yet the dissovible stitches didn't fully dissolve. He went in and snipped out what didn't and all was good. It was pretty minor. Hopefully, yours is minor too.
