When I was on thicker liquids, I would suck on goldfish crackers until they melted in my mouth... that and butternut squash Soup was my saving grace. I love the pizza flavored crackers, they gave me the flavor I needed during those rough weeks.

I should think that if you let them sit there for a minute, you'd be fine. Or, maybe sprinkle some finely grated cheddar on there?
