Sojourner 2,446 Posted January 2, 2013 I ended up needing a slight unfill after a stomach virus. Prior to the .5cc removed, I was having daily issues with getting close to s stuck episode. Since then, no issues. I will discuss with my surgeon about having .25 added at my next appointment. My learning curve continues... 1 kll724 reacted to this
#MagicWithinme 173 Posted January 2, 2013 In November I had to have complete unfill of my 3.75. I was having problems breathing, I had just had a .50 fill but it was just not comfortable. I had 2 x-rays to make sure I did not have a slippage after 6 weeks of nothing in my band I gained 3lbs, x-rays showed everything was clear and I now have a fill of 1. Your health is more important. Its not going to do anyone any good if you are not feeling good, (but loosing weight). The soonest you get your issues looked at , even if the doctor finds nothing, you know what your next step will be... keep trucking!
Banderina 69 Posted January 2, 2013 He took out .5 then sent me for a barium swallow. My doctor is awesome, so understanding..after the unfill the barium liquid sailed through. No slip, no erosion and liquids going down fine. I feel so much better! He wants me back in one month to put back the .5 Im so happy I went in and got checked out!
