Peaceful1 110 Posted December 28, 2012 I need to get a home exercise machine for the times I can't make it to the gym. What routines/machines have worked best for you? 1 VictoriousPassion reacted to this
PattyGirl66 1,243 Posted December 28, 2012 I swear by this machine! I am on it every single day. I also have 2lb weights I do upper body exercise too when I am finished on my gazelle edge. I have lost a lot of inches on my waist, hips, thighs, and legs doing the gazelle edge. The best part about this machine it folds for in the closet storage. This machine is sold out practically everywhere, I did find it on Amazon in stock now : http://www.amazon.com/Gazelle-1285-Edge/dp/B0000AS7W2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356725743&sr=8-1&keywords=tony+little+gazelle+edge 1 LouisianaLiLi reacted to this
skuzzie 23 Posted December 28, 2012 I love the wii, there are so many different fitness programs to shake it up and you really burn cals!! Also dance ones like zumba which also tell you cals. I live in a small flat and i get borred walking, so this is great, even on the hot summer days at the moment i have the fan directly on me and my daily goal is a min of 200cals, even if its over 2 sessions. I cant afford the gym and you can get the games cheap 2nd hand at game shops and ebay.
2muchfun 8,927 Posted December 28, 2012 Tony Horton's(Beachbody.com) 10 minute exercise is fairly inexpensive and gives you a good workout without spending a fortune on equipment. tmf 1 LouisianaLiLi reacted to this

I was wanting to know if you could tell me how it folds up and what the measurements are when it folds up? I've looked at it on Amazon and it doesn't show it folded up??? I do have a closet to put it in and room to pull it out and work out in my bedroom. This sounds like something I would like to have and do here at home and great workout for me and not so much impact on my knee. Thx Donna

Thx Donna Hi Donna, I initially purchased this when I had problems with my hips. I have degenerative arthritis in my hips, my right hip is completely replaced and my left hip is going as well. Its just a matter of time before I have another hip replaced. ugh!! anyway, this machine is the best best ever on my joints. it keeps not only my old hip moving, but my new one as well. They said keeping the joints moving is the best thing for arthritis. I love this machine, believe me you feel like its doing nothing, but losing lots of inches don;t lie!! and my joints feel so much better! I will take a pic for you with my folded just for ya,............. 1 donna12 reacted to this

Peaceful1 110 Posted December 29, 2012 Wow!! Such helpful advice!! Thank you Patti! I always wanted to try the gazelle, but I wasn't sure. I'm 278 lbs now, can it hold my weight? Also, how smoothly does it operate? Does it shake alot? I heard some reviews that it was.
