Sassy0822 8 Posted December 28, 2012 I'm 3 weeks post op. Tonight I noticed the upper right side of my stomach appears visually swollen. I did a lot of bending today but haven't lifted anything over what dr said I can ( heavier than a gallon of water). Has this happened to anyone else?
Maddysgram 6,159 Posted December 28, 2012 Could that be where your port is? If so, it will swell up & down for weeks. I'm 10 wks out and still get some bulging at port site. 2 Angelizz10 and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted December 28, 2012 Sounds like the port to me as well. Can you feel the port under the bulge or is it still too sore to poke at? Port site takes a looooonnng time to heal. 4 A New New Dawn, Maddysgram, ☠carolinagirl☠ and 1 other reacted to this

☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted December 28, 2012 mine was swollen (where my port is located) for about a month. my dr said this is normal. being me, i asked why that is??.....well, because he said i cut your tummy and then sewed this thing in it and well, its healing..it did go down, it was tender for about a month and now its all good, (i can see a slight bulge as i am losing more and more). like knowing i got a secret weapon to help me lose weight. 1 Cdnman1 reacted to this
Sassy0822 8 Posted December 28, 2012 It's higher then the port like almost under my right breast. It doesn't hurt to touch just looks strange.
