Meagan 25 Posted December 30, 2012 Does insurance pay for the skin removal? HEy, insurance really doesnt, it is actually becoming harder and harder and even more impossible for insurance to cover it. I mean it literally has to be like life threatening. This means that the rash has to be getting infected and you have to have like 6 months of documentation that you have tried many different things to help it. I have done a ton of research and talking to doctors both pastic surgeons, general physicians, dermotologists, and even the group of doctors that did my lap band. Electrawoman 5 Posted January 4, 2013 I dont think a TT will affect you having kids. You can always get it tightened up later if you need to for cosmetic reasons. I hemmed and hawed about surgery all year but now I am at the same place you are---I feel like I need to get rid of this pannus, almost like its a foreign growth on my body.
