Rn925 25 Posted December 25, 2012 My surgery is scheduled for the 28th. I'm sure this has probably been posted before, but I'd appreciate if you guys could help. What are the things you absolutely had to have (and why) post op? Thanks for ANY input

Rn925 25 Posted December 25, 2012 Thanks, I'm SO incredibly nervous. I'd actually talked myself out of surgery last night! But I really feel like its the best thing for me. Making my list now, so I can go shop on Wednesday. I'm actually having dental work on Thursday, so I have a lot to get accomplished in a little time. Lol
kazjim98 618 Posted December 25, 2012 I was very nervous too but I'm so glad I went through with it, even at my early stage...Yes you do have a lot to get accomplished ..bless your heart! I would also recommend getting some Miralax...constipation is no fun. Good luck with both your dental work and the surgery...keep us updated!

Pebbagirl 131 Posted December 25, 2012 Loose pants to wear a out of the hospital or surgery center, a nightgown, milk of magnesia refrigerated (goes down easier), liquid tylenol for when pain meds are too strong, tons of pillows to prop you up (I slept sitting up for 3 days!), and some homemade chicken broth prepared for when you get home. A side table or nightstand next to your rest area to house all your goodies; Water, chapstick, meds etc getting up and down at first is a lot of work
