JGTex 0 Posted December 24, 2012 Hi all, my Dr is closed, so I can't reach him to ask about Mucinex. Has anyone taken it after a lap band surgery? Is it okay? Not feeling well and I would like to take it. Thanks!!!
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted December 24, 2012 I have taken it..buy the caplets instead of the capsules . I cut the pill in 1/4s. You can use a pen knife or instead of risking losing a finger buy a pill cutter at the drugstore for $

sparkplug 106 Posted December 28, 2012 I actually have the children brand granules that melt the minute they hit your tongue. They are bubble gum flavor which was great. I swear by them and have used them a few times from cold congestion and they work just fine on adults as well as children. My thoughts were that if they are safe for children that they would be safe for a lap band patient. Hope you feel better soon.
