What did you eat? Did you measure your portion size and remember to chew every bite 20-30 times?

You have not really shared some vital information for insights to be shared...if it persists and something like a few sips of milk or a Tums do not help, get in contact with your surgeon or medical team...

Hope you feel better fast...

Sounds like a stuck episode. Welcome to the club. At three weeks out what type of foods are you supposed to be eating? For me at 3 weeks I was allowed cottage cheese and yogurt. Did you move ahead to quickly on your doctors post op diet? If you ate solids when you are supposed to be on mushies that could be your problem. The more details you provide the more I can try to help.

What are you eating for mushies? I had two weeks of mushies. The first week was the aforementioned cottage cheese and yoghurt. The second I could have canned chicken and tuna. If you are having denser mushies you may need to step back a bit until the swelling goes down some more.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
