wozzicat 36 Posted December 21, 2012 Hi there I have my appointment. I am extremely scared of failing. How long have you had the band? Is it the best thing you have ever done? Thanks for the input. Jen
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted December 21, 2012 I've had the band for 11 1/2 months, I've lost 175 pounds so far, and it's definitely the best thing I've ever done for myself. 4 kah1213, suzannetx, FLORIDAYS and 1 other reacted to this
wozzicat 36 Posted December 21, 2012 Wow that is wonderful to hear. Do you feel satisfied when you eat? I think probably the hardest is pre and post op care
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted December 21, 2012 I didn't until after a couple fills, but now, yes. I'm easily satisfied on a cup or less of food for many hours. 2 highschoolskinney and suzannetx reacted to this
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted December 21, 2012 I have had my band for 24 months. I have lost 220 lbs and am actually home recovering from my Tummy Tuck and breast lift/aug. I never once considered failure to be an option because I knew the band would do its job if I did mine. And it did. 5 ☠carolinagirl☠, finallytime, ♕ajtexas♕ and 2 others reacted to this

I have 75 pounds to lose that hasn't come off. Something must change. I was also told that I need a bmi of 40. I'm at 38 which is severely obese. Things need to change. There are several people on this site with lower BMI when they started...they seem to be very happy about their results. Go with your gut. Just be sure to fully understand what the life of a banded person entails... you will never be able to eat as you do now again. 3 ♕ajtexas♕, ☠carolinagirl☠ and wozzicat reacted to this
