I have been home for a few hours now since surgery and everything went well. had a hernia fixed I'm still very sore of course and have gas pains in my shoulders that's bothering me the most , drinking my Water every hour and holding it down very well. can't wait to feel much better :) - jackie

take something for gas and to make you have a BM this will do the most to help your pain. Heating pads and hot liquids also make you feel better.

Congratulations! The first 48hrs is the toughest. Walk a lot to move gas. Follow Drs orders.

i had a hernia fixed also..just keep sipping and stay the course. congrats to you dear

I enjoyed the drugs most of all.....was happy to become one with my Lazy Boy recliner for 48 hrs.....with a warm comforter....

Then I had to get up and run off the gas......

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
