♕ajtexas♕ 3,771 Posted December 18, 2012 It depends on the size of the pill. I swallow pills every morning without problem. That being said I got a softgel pill stuck once... Burned in my chest for about 30 minutes, then stopped. Won't do that again! Anyway, my doc said keep the pills smaller than an M&M. Hope that helps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted December 18, 2012 Always talk to your doctor to get his clearance. Pill size matters. If it's small, you should be fine. If it's larger, be extremely cautious. Always consult your pharmacist before crushing any pills. Some pills are time release and crushing them will cause them to be absorbed too quickly, leading to accidental overdose.
