finallytime 134 Posted December 16, 2012 Quite sure this is normal and hopefully not too much information. I am three days out and overall I do feel pretty good. But i still feel like there is a giant lump in the middle of my throat (not like I have to throw up although at some times it feels that way), had diarrhea this am and the site where the port is certainly hurts the most and overall I am just achy. Again, I am quite sure this is normal and have seen posts where people are far worse then I am, but never hurts to check. My dr pretty much has me on zero Protein for week 1 is that normal too? Both my doc and nutritionist had me on a minimum of 2 Protein Shakes per day since the day after surgery. Just do whatever he tells you.
