Maddysgram 6,159 Posted December 15, 2012 Not at all. I had two of them before banding and there's nothing to it. You go in with an empty stomach, change into gown and have all your vitals taken and hook up to monitors. They put you out and the next thing you know they're saying time to wake up. You get dress and go home. Absolutely no pain at all. I even had biopsies taken and had no ill effects from that. Don't give it a second thought Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It took longer than I expected, as far as waiting around, but that's just because my surgeon was running late. No pain at all and i was only under anesthesia for about fifteen minutes. All former feral barn cats. I would have more if the hubby would let me!
