happy&blessed 1 Posted December 12, 2012 I am one week out and started eggs and other soft foods yesterday. I feel good. Small bites, 20 min meals, small amounts. I'm worried that my band isn't tight enough because I get hunger cravings a lot. I also feel the bloated feeling after a few bites. No vomiting. Am I okay? Maddysgram 6,159 Posted December 12, 2012 You're doing great! It could take several fills to get enough restriction to keep you satisfied with what you're eating, but keep on this course. When you get hungry between meals drink a lot of fluids, also try to keep yourself busy, it does help. Keep it up !

kll724 3,055 Posted December 12, 2012 Best wishes to you and your wife. Be glad that you can have soft solids. My surgeon makes us do 10 days clear and 10 days full liquids before we can go to mushies. (Not that I remember, but my son-in-law just had surgery Nov 30). He was excited to go on full liquids, but can't wait for mushies, too! Congrats, again, Karen 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

honk 780 Posted December 12, 2012 Your band is probably empty. You won't feel full/satisfied from small portions until you get fills.
