Amber1989 2 Posted December 11, 2012 Hello. First of all, I'm sorry if I don't write correctly- I'm from Israel so don't speak English fluently.. I had my lap band surgery in July- I have a 14cc band and 3 weeks ago I got another fill that got me to 10.5 cc. I'm having a bit of problem drinking. It's not impossible but I have to drink very slowly and never while I eat. I was wondering if this is normal or if it is a bit too tight. I've has very little restriction before the last fill and it took a while for the band to work.. Thank you! 1 smellslikecoffee reacted to this
Skyvic 226 Posted December 11, 2012 You might be too tight. Call your doctor. Sip, sip, sip but you should be able to get a cup of food down once you do your liquids for a couple of days.
2muchfun 8,927 Posted December 11, 2012 It takes time to find the green zone. You sound like you're in the red zone. A very small unfill should tweak the band just right. We see posts like yours nearly every day so you're in great company. tmf 1 Maddysgram reacted to this
PattyGirl66 1,243 Posted December 11, 2012 I agree with the rest of the posters. Sounds like you are too tight and will need a small unfill.
A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted December 11, 2012 I agree that it sounds like you may be a little too tight. Since it was 3 weeks ago since you got the fill and it is still difficult to drink, I would recommend getting in to your doctor to have a small amount of Fluid removed. Are you able to eat ok? good luck to you! 1 dee257 reacted to this
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted December 11, 2012 I would agree that a small unfill may be order.
