Well its been a little over 3 months since surgery and I'm down 93lbs!!! 1 more pound and I'll be In onderland! Crossing my fingers that at weigh in tomorrow I'll be under 200 (I haven't weighed in a week) my size 12 jeans are getting to big and I just started wearing them last week. It feels so good to be a successful bander.. Here is a photo from last weekend at ny company xmas party and it felt amazing for everyone coming up to me complimenting me and telling me how amazing I'm looking and how awesome I'm doing and the best comment of all was omg you look like a model :)) ok I'm done gloating I'm just so excited at how well I'm doing and how successful I've been!

Really really awesome!! I suggest taking good notes on what you are doing ... For example how many hours of sleep, workout schedule, how many times you eat out, what specifically you are eating including portion etc... This will help later - trust me ; )

If exercise is a part if this success look for new ways to push the envelope and keep it fresh ... Maybe group fitness like Spin class, LA Boxing, bootcamp , power yoga Zumba etc...

Thanks for sharing your success - you are providing hope.

Hope in your future is power in your present !

Wow !! SO inspiring. Am I reading this correctly ( 93 lbs in 3 months)? Can you share your plan ( how much are you eating/working out etc). I am sure many of us would love to see what you are doing that has caused such great success.

Please share I can not believe 93 in 3mo. U look great. However is it a healthy weight loss my doc forebided me to loose more than 2lbs per week.

If it was my will I'd stay liquid forever. But it would be nice to see what others are doing to get big results

I don't regret any decision in my life because at the end I will make it work

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
