2012 359 Posted December 8, 2012 Pearls Probiotics help keep me regular. They took about 2 weeks to kick in, but before surgery I used Sustenex which worked really well and I wanted a smaller sized pill after surgery, so I switched. In the beginning right after surgery it can be a bit of a rough transition, I had to take MOM.
Banjo257 920 Posted December 8, 2012 Call doc. Don't want to let this go too long. Good luck. 1 readytogoforit reacted to this
Eria 2 Posted December 8, 2012 I'm in Aus so products may differ - my doc told me to take fibre but only BENIFIBRE brand as it is the only one that doesn't grow or something in the stomach. I had heaps of this and prune juice, it took 2 days of this but was regular after that
honk 780 Posted December 8, 2012 I don't think you can buy benefiber in the US any longer I'm not seeing it. I found a brand made by costco that I've been using a flavorless a fiber powder.
Eria 2 Posted December 8, 2012 Might be a good Idea to call your doctor and see what they recommend
