Hi all! I am a bandster!! I arrived at 9 am but my surgeon was in another case do I didn't go to the OR until 2pm. I had my hiatal hernia repaired and I'm headed home now! (730pm)....I am so very glad it's done!

I am ok. Sore, but ok and SO glad that's over!! The surgery lasted about 2 hours. I have 6 incisions, but all went well! I'm so excited!

Congratulations. Make sure you take your medicines as prescribed. Don't try and tough it out. I also had hernia repaired and band placement. I had more discomfort under my breast bone where my hernia repair was than with the band. Sip Water and walk often. It will help with any trapped gas.
