Courtnin 86 Posted December 3, 2012 Umm, I might take a pregnancy test if there are chances you could be pregnant? I am also very regular and I had surgery on the 16th and had my regular cycle start on the 18th. There wasn't anything abnormal about mine, but everyone's body is different :-)
thinkt2013 74 Posted December 3, 2012 Weight loss causes lots of screwy cycles. I would test, but it is most likely your body adjusting
kadeez 2 Posted December 3, 2012 I got banded on November 2nd . I am 26. my period is always right on track but i am 2 weeks late now. does the band affect other peoples cycle? This is what I was told when mine got super heavy & longer. Far cells contain estrogen. When you burn far, the estrogen is bring released into your body. Fluctuating hormones can cause all kinds of problems. I ended up having a hysterectomy, but that was only after other treatments didn't work. You may want to take a pregnancy test to confirm you are not prego just to be safe. I wouldn't stress over it too much since you are only a couple weeks post op. Good Luck with everything! missybear 86 Posted December 3, 2012 I'm 5 months out from surgery and had some very odd cycles. Keeping up the Iron supplements have been key for me.
wildrose1966 396 Posted December 3, 2012 Might not be the band, but the medications from surgery................
BandedBettyBoop 36 Posted December 3, 2012 Could be anything from the process. I'm religiously on schedule with my cycle and mine started 2 days early. The day before surgery :-( I think it was due to diet & rapid weight loss. (I lost 13 lbs in pre op diet)
jenniferdawn86 3 Posted December 3, 2012 I have taken 4 pregnancy tests and all came back negative. that's when i started looking into things and i found this app. i wasn't sure what was going on but found other people had altered cycles so i am not as worried now.. Thank you for the help!! :-) i am about to get my first fill so really wanted to make sure i was't pregnant first or just from the surgery messing things up.
