wildrose1966 396 Posted December 2, 2012 Your dr should be monitoring your loss and if you need a fill. Do you have an appointment scheduled with your surgeon soon??? 30lbs is great.........congrats.
megamomnj 334 Posted December 2, 2012 I just had my first pre-op appt with my doctor last week. I was banded on November 6th. He said that I will see him once a month and if I have lost more than four pounds since the last time I saw him, he won't do a fill. Think it all depends on your doctor though. vlp1968 83 Posted December 3, 2012 I had my first fill 6 weeks post-op. My doctor always based the fills/unfills on how I was feeling; hungry, getting sick et... I think that's better than going by weight loss. Their were deffiinately long stretches of time I lost weight but was very hungry. The weight loss didn't mean I didn't need a fill.
