Usually the 0 one is the most expensive. You have to look at each plan and choose the one that will cover your needs. Which one pays the most if that is what you need or if you can afford more out of pocket then go with a cheaper one. Each plan should out line what it covers.

You have to see which of the things you need the most. Of course wellness visits and sick visits. I wouldnt weigh in too much on emergency room visits because in all reality unless you are a sickly person how many times do you patronize the ER. In the event you should have to go to the ER and you are admitted the out of pocket cost is usually waived. We have a 200 dollar copay for the ER which I have only used once and was admitted so it was a benefit. I dont go to the ER unless I am really that sick and can't get to my doctor which is usually never. Most insurance carriers cover minute clinics which are becoming very well in need so they are just as good as the ER if you get sick. If they think its serious enough then they will send you to the ER.

Yea I did read something about that. I'm not sickly or have health conditions at all other than weight issues. I'm thinking about call the 800 number and just asking in general the options too. My job just have these papers to us Friday and they want them back by the 10th that's not fair but I'm on it

Rule of thumb is to buy the best insurance you can afford considering the deductibles. If u are disciplineed and can put your deductibles in an account to be used for emergencies only then you can buy insurance with a high deductible. If you see the dr a lot for various reasons you want to look for plans with cheaper office visits depending on your financial situation.

You can look at your needs and call your benefits specialist. He or she should be able to walk you through it.

I'm not good at saving I have to admit. I will probably do better paying a higher monthly rate. I will for sure call a specialist and see what they say. You guys have been such a big help. Thank u!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
