wiggygiggy 0 Posted May 26, 2006 How many calories are we suppose to try to stay under every day? At my post-op appt. yesterday she told me to try to get in 50-60 g of Protein, and 2000 of Calcium daily, but didn't mention anything else and I forgot to ask! Duh. shoresexy 0 Posted May 26, 2006 Wiggygiggy, Every Nutritionist is different it seems... mine recomends the following 1200 calories ( I try to keep to 1000 ) 70 - 80 grams of Protein and 70 - 80 oz of liquid (any caffinated drinks do not count) I take a Calcium suppliment 1000g a multi vitimin two benefiber capsules flax seed oil fish oil and 1000 Vit. C....... I hope this helps Your stats are fantastic....... count up what you have been doing and average them out... your loss pre band is very impressive and post band is great! Thanks - I owe it all to the Protein Shakes. I felt full and so wasn't tempted to cheat, but did have bites of various things occasionally - and realized it wasn't as good as I thought it would be and that helped me maintain control.
