Cigna inaccurately read paperwork on my first try and denied my claim. My surgeon has a peer to peer call with them tomorrow morning and I'm hoping for the best as my surgery is scheduled for December 12. They claimed they were missing paperwork (like my psych eval, which was the first requirement I did) They did a peer to peer and I got my approval quickly. I was banded today. nicolemm 24 Posted November 30, 2012 After all of my anxiety my surgeon told it it took all of 3 minutes for them to reverse the decision! Thank goodness, getting banded on 12/12/12!
