My feet are shrinking too -- I thought it was just the width from weight loss, but when I got out my sandals from last year -- you know how you can see the footprint -- (gross but true) Well the actual length of my foot is shorter. I was in a 10 and now I'm a 9! I was an 8.5 before kids & weight gain maybe I'll get there again!

Haha bandayed,

What's really weird is ..I've got these kinda sandal/platforms and there is that leather piece that goes overtop of the foot...that piece used to be very very tight but now my feet just slide out while i walk in them. They have made me fall a few times b/c they are so loose now. It's time for a wardrobe change but I don't think I should waste my money being as I'd be in a size 7 in a few months ;)

I was thinking though, I don't want to have anymore kids so I'd definately get a Tummy Tuck once I'd hit 145lbs. My goal is 135lbs but I know that doctors remove about 5 - 15lbs of excess skin when they do tummy tucks. So is it customary to actually hit goal weight first, such as 135 and then get a tummy tuck? If I had to do this then I may be smaller than a size 7 or maybe right at 7, who knows.

I am at size 24/26 and would love to be in a size 18. I'm 5'8" and the smallest I have been was 14. That is more difficult to maintain for me. Time will tell.

I am a 22 right now, sometimes even 24 but I try to avoid it. 22 jeans are tight though. I'm hoping to be a size 4 or 6. I know I'm capable of a 6. I could probably get down to a 4 if I excercise.

I'm 5'4'' started in size 26/28 pants now in a loose 22. Shirts 26/28 now 22/24 only because I hate the roll showing but, others tell me I should go down a size. I'd love to get into 14s but, 12 or Medium is my dream goal.

Good luck everyone...I hope you're all well and shrinking ;)

I'd love to be an Australian 14, which is a US 12. I'm 5ft 10 so that would be nice and slender, but healthy.

I'm 5'9 and started as a 22/24 am now down to 16's. (I had to return some size 16 shorts the other day & the 14's fit!) Would like to get down to at least 12.

Pre op I was a UK 28 (US 24). I am currently a UK 24 (US 20) and I hope to get back to UK 12/14 (US 8/10). Clothes sizes vary from shop to shop in the UK. Before my weight gain I could wear a size 12 in TopShop but require a 14 from M&S.

I am glad someone dug this thread up!

I am starting at a US 28 pant and 26/28 top. I would be over the moon to be at US 14, but I will be happy to be a 16 or 18 pant. I have a really large skeletal frame and once a nutritionist told me after doing my assessment that I'd be anorexic looking if I made it to a 12.

I started out as a 22/24 and just bought my first size 12 pants this weekend! I am a 12 on top unless it has buttons, then I need a 14 for my two girls. Honestly I am just glad to have something left! I would like to be a 10! Almost there!

I'm 5'2" and started at a very tight 16. I am currently wearing a loose 10 not quite into an 8 yet. I want to see what a 4 looks like, but would probably settle for a 6, if just my belly was flat and firm like those little girls in the belly shirts; alas, I have always had a poofy belly.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
