I am 5 weeks post op and my first fill is next Monday. I have not put too much focus on losing weight but more on healing. Yesterday my daughter says "mommy, you look different". Well I did not feel different. The last time I weight myself I was stuck. I thought that was ok, my body is adjusting, it will catch up to what I'm trying to do. Also yesterday I was wearing my "FAT" jeans and I had to keep pulling them up. At the end of the day I can take them off without unbuttoning them.

This morning I was curious and stepped on the scale. I lost a total of 25 pounds so far. I thought ok, this could be it, it's happening, I'm losing weight. Still not so excited because I have been at this weight before. The real magic started when I thought I would try on my "Skinny" jeans. A pair of jeans I have had for over a year and have not been able to wear then because of my size. I put it on and button it without any problem. Then I got excited!

I am on my way to greatness.

WTG! It's always in the jeans, nothing better than pulling them off without unbuttoning them. Congratulations!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
