Down 50 lbs since surgery 4/26 and 63 total since March 1 (when i was at my highest weight ever)

So for the last two months, ive lost 5 lbs each month. I cant complain I suppose, but I really need to change some things that I know I am still doing wrong, so I can get that closer to 7 or 8 lbs a month.

I am very excited tho, that I have gone down another size in both my tops and bottoms...and I also bought my first pair of jeans in over 10 yrs, and I must say, I look DAMN GOOD in them lol. Ok, well i wasnt sure I did, but I have had tons of compliments when I wore them, so I guess it must be true lol.

I hope everyone is having much success, and if you are hitting a bump in the road, DONT GIVE UP! You can get through this, it may not be easy, but it is POSSIBLE!

The pics below are two days before surgery, (white shirt) and 11/21 (jeans and purple shirt)

That is wonderful and you are looking great. I know the feeling and excitement when you do something you have not been able to do in years.

Keep up the good work. Are you exercising at all?

I am, but i know i can be doing more..everytime i have a good week where i go to the gym at least 3 times...the next week something keeps me from going, like this week, im down with a sinus infection and have fever for 2 days...another time i hurt my ankle..so its always something. i def know what i need to do to kick it up, its just a matter of DOING IT~

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
