Mushie/ Pureed Food Stage: Blender Or Food Processor?

Which worked best for you? Pros/Cons? Should I go out and buy a food processor or will my blender (good quality) work fine? Surgery Thursday!

I actually think for the mushie stage, a blender is preferred. It will get rid of all the chunks, whereas a food processor can leave chunks.

The only thing I blended was fruited Greek yogurt. For mushies I had cottage/ricotta cheese, egg whites, canned chicken and tuna.< /p>

thanks for the feedback everyone. Its funny how the instructions vary. I'm actually only allowed meat cheese and eggs for my mushie stage. No yogurt for me.

Blender def over food processor( too much cleaning up) , but I have a Magic Bullet that is awesome. You can get similar brands at Target really cheap. There small, easy to clean and comes with like 6 different cups, so you're not always washing one.
