Krussell19 217 Posted February 7, 2013 I am 30 weeks with an empty band and for the past week I have gotten stuck on everything and the past few days I've puked a few things up. I know its due to swelling but it makes me nervous to think how bad it may be come 5-8 weeks from now knowing there is no Fluid to be removed!!Hope your feeling better

Hynita 113 Posted March 9, 2013 Did anyone notice that foods they ate before getting pregnant get stuck? Two times today food that I always eat got stuck. Like the pressure/burp/discomfort feeling. Or did you ever have this happen with pms? Just find it weird. Haven't had a fill recently and eating hasn't changed. There was day i can remember that I could hardly eat it was in the first 3 months was really bad. and i threw up once really bad and of course i found out i have slipped recently which was so disappointing and its a bad slip where im going to have to have it fixed or removed but just go slow and maybe get a slight un fill
Baba Wawa 543 Posted March 9, 2013 Old woman here with hopefully some helpful advice; the band isn't capable of "tightening" on its own, it's our body responding to the irritation of the band that causes random tightness. I had a complete unfill 9 months ago, still get tight. It's spasms of the esophagus, stomach and intestines that cause the tightness. I take an antispasmodic for this. Another thing that helps and is safe is essential peppermint oil in tea. 10-15 drops in a cup of Zen tea relaxes the stomach and helps with digestion,
