anjb07271 24 Posted November 25, 2012 I don't know what to eat !!! I am starting solids this week and I keep hearing eat a cup of food ...does that mean Protein and veggies should add up to a cup? FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted November 25, 2012 My dr suggest my portions for every meal be as follows... 3 oz Protein 1/2 c veggies 1/4 c startch That is a little over a cup but most of the time I cannot eat it all... hely88 883 Posted November 25, 2012 I eat half a cup three times a day. If you dont know what your doctor recomends you need to contact them before you start eating. Every doctor is different!
