chelseyrion 26 Posted November 24, 2012 ME! I ate a Lyle bite of everything, finished up with 2oz of turkey w/ gravy and LOST 1lb! Best of all I felt great after eating while everyone else looked miserably stuffed. I can honestly say I don't miss that! I was a little bad and did partake in the family tradition of crown shots but I only had two, diluted with Water. All in all it was a very successful night! 4 meyouus, ☠carolinagirl☠, Maddysgram and 1 other reacted to this

Toddy 758 Posted November 25, 2012 Thanksgiving morning I was 161. Today I was 160. I absolutely LOVE not having that grossly stuff feeling anymore!!!! When everybody else is sitting around moaning and groaning about eating too much, I feel nothing but very comfortably satisfied!!!! 2 meyouus and Maddysgram reacted to this
bamagirl2012 34 Posted November 25, 2012 I lost 2 pounds. I weighed this morning and then tonight and I weigh the same. So fingers crossed I lost more today. Fells so good to lose during the holidays when everyone else is gaining. I am leaving for NYC in a month and hoping I will down my first 50 pounds. Down 43 so far. 1 Maddysgram reacted to this
hely88 883 Posted November 25, 2012 How in the world can you tell if you lost or not? Your weight can shift daily.
2012 359 Posted November 25, 2012 I weigh every Sunday to see if I lost, but went early today as I was anxious about Thanksgiving and as long as it's the same tomorrow, I'm down 3 this week, woohoo! Passed the 60lb mark and 1lb from being out of the 200s! 3 Maddysgram, MelGar and bamagirl2012 reacted to this
bamagirl2012 34 Posted November 25, 2012 How in the world can you tell if you lost or not? Your weight can shift daily. Since my surgery my weight stays the same or goes down. I haven't seen it go up. 1 Maddysgram reacted to this
chelseyrion 26 Posted November 25, 2012 How in the world can you tell if you lost or not? Your weight can shift daily. I weigh myself twice daily. It's important for me to SEE how my daily eating habits affect my weight loss. Not for everyone, but it works for me. I'm not much of a food tracker. I have always had a hard time tracking anything. 1 MelGar reacted to this
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted November 25, 2012 I weigh myself twice daily. It's important for me to SEE how my daily eating habits affect my weight loss. Not for everyone, but it works for me. I'm not much of a food tracker. I have always had a hard time tracking anything. I also weigh myself 2x every day and I tracked everything I put in my mouth up until I was 3/4 of the way to goal...then dr wanted me to becom less dependent on tracking....but I read that people who track their calories when losing are twice as likely to succeed that those who don't. I am not saying you won't be successful.... I just wanted to put it out there for those who are struggling. 3 Maddysgram, chelseyrion and dreamers reacted to this

I am not saying you won't be successful.... I just wanted to put it out there for those who are struggling. Believe me, I wish I was a tracker, I am just not hard wired like that. For example I have prob only tracked 3-5 mens cycles in my life (I'm 30). I don't know y but it is the hardest thing for me to remember. It's been an issue all my life, my mother is a public health nurse who tracks everything and has always tried to get me to track to no avail. Now that I am SAT with two year old twins tracking is just way beyond my scattered mom brain and lifestyle. I hope to one day be a tracker, it would prob help in many areas of my life... bamagirl2012 34 Posted November 25, 2012 I use my fitness pal to track. I do better w it during the week. The weekends I seem to forget. I use it mostly just to see how many calories something is.
