I had my surgery 11-2-12 i would like to start using my ellipictal again, i am not able to go fast or run just a steady brisk walk. DO you all think this is ok. I just dont have time to go walking outside, and i could do this in the morning before i go to work.

Ask your doctor. I was not allowed to do strenuous exercise for six weeks. I would be safe and call them. That uses a lot of muscles.

Do not start exercise before prescribed by your physician. You can cause complications.

I understand how you feel though. I am going on 2 months out and my weight has been at a standstill despite exercising 3 times a week and walking daily (I am a home care nurse).

Since the beginning of sept i have lost 37 lbs. I am so excited at the chance to gain my life back. I go for my 1st fill on the 28th, and I have been keeping my meals limited to 1 cup at a time which keeps me full for 3-4 hours.

Hopefully that first fill will be just enough for you. That was all I needed. Good you are able to get to the one cup now with 3-4 hours. That is awesome. You may not want very much added. Go slow as you matpy be a lucky one like me. I have only had one fill and almost 11 months post op.

I went to my 1st DR visit yesterday at my 6 day post op and he said it was ok for my to start goin to the gym. Treadmill was ok elliptical was ok exercise is good. I even ask how long he said 30-60 mins. But I just think it is too soon. Too soon for me and now I have gas trapped in my ribcage

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
