Or use a pill cutter available at drug stores for about $
Qtjan5 17 Posted November 20, 2012 Both my bariatric surgeon and my plastic surgeon told me to get an unfill about a week before. I'm scheduled for a tt and arms on December 21 and i am scheduled to have an unfill on the 18th. I am more concerned with having food get stuck without having the band loosened more than anything else. I don't want to imagine what throwing up after a tt must feel like. I also had my plastic surgeon prescribe me all liquid medications.

JoMi 5 Posted December 4, 2012 I'm getting my Tummy Tuck in one month ... Do I have to unfil my band? Hi I had to get all of the Fluid taken out after the TT. My stomach was so tight and it was pushing on my band and was causing pain. If I had known what it felt like I would have had a slight unfill prior than having my lap band doc searching around trying to find my port (it moved during surgery)
FAMOUS1 29 Posted December 10, 2012 Can you see your port ? My doctor said he is going to move mine ? Two days away , I'm scared !!
JoMi 5 Posted December 10, 2012 Can you see your port ? My doctor said he is going to move mine ? Two days away ' date=' I'm scared !![/quote'] Hi nope I can't see it or feel it. With my old port I could feel it by touching my belly. It also hurt. This smaller port is much better and other than being so close to my belly button I am very happy with it!! You will be fine! It's much easier to recover from than the implant! Good luck! 1 A New New Dawn reacted to this

depressed_bandster 72 Posted December 16, 2012 JoMi....did you have a TT when you had your port changed? My TT is the 19th & I will be getting a low profile port and they will be moving it to down near my BB, which seems to me like it would be more obvious there after a TT. FAMOUS1...did you end up having to get your Fluid removed? Glad to see (on the other thread) you are recovering well.

Because of my insurance I had to have the revision at one hospital and the TT at my local hospital. I am super happy with the results from both surgeries. I did have a snafu with my belly button stitch popping and having to go for a reopeartion. But that was a really fast recovery. My breast lift and reduction is scheduled for Match!!! Can't wait!!! Good luck on Tuesday! I hope you have a speedy recovery!
