losangelesislovely 10 Posted November 18, 2012 How many ccs constitute an aggressive first-time fill? Also, on what day do you get to eat solids? For me, it's day 22. I'm just curious about patients at other clinics.
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted November 18, 2012 I've heard of some people getting 4-5cc fills. Some are VERY aggressive. Personally, I prefer conservative fills. It's much easier to ease into the Green Zone than blow past it into too tight and try to back into it. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted November 18, 2012 My dr is conservative. I think my first fill was 1cc. He doesn't like it to be to tight. His motto is we can always add more. I was banded on December 9..... I was on 3 weeks of liquid then mushies.... On January 1 for a week then I was able to move to solids at almost 4 weeks post op 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
wildrose1966 396 Posted November 18, 2012 My clinic only does 1cc fills...........easier to creep up to restriction than to blow right past it and try to figure out what to take out. I did blenderized and pureed on post op day 14 for a week and then graduated to finely chopped ground meats about 10 days after that.

Did u still have to aim for 1200 (or less) calories while on liquids?

I just had my second fill a week ago. Between my first and 2nd fill was 2 weeks (family situation brought be back to the city where my dr is - 6hr drive so I decided to ask for a fill. as I was in town) I did not lose anything in those 2 weeks. I have 5 weeks between fill 2 and 3 so will get a better idea. I do try to stick to 1200 calories/day. The last 2 days have been tough but am regrouping in my head for a great week.
