show1980 38 Posted November 16, 2012 Well I've lost 65 pounds now and so far I've gotten hand me downs. Is it safe to buy new yet?

cheryl2586 3,053 Posted November 16, 2012 I do but not many. I do go to thrift stores and have found unused clothes with tags on them still. It can be less money in the long run until you reach goal. I enjoy thrift shopping. I got three new pair of jeans for 2 bucks each and had never been worn. Still had the price tags on them. 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, zinhaa and LouisianaLiLi reacted to this
FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted November 16, 2012 I bought very basic pieces and wore them until they fell off. I wore the same 3 skirts and maybe 6-8 tops for work until they were too big... I hated the idea of spending money on things which would be too big in 2-3 months. Consignment stores are great ...you can buy more things then turn them in when they get too big! 2 zinhaa and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
justathing2me 146 Posted November 16, 2012 I started buying a few pieces when I lost about 50lbs but those are too big now too. I am a cheapy and hate to spend money on clothes that are going to be too big soon. I suggest the thrift stores and to check out any good sales. I have been frequenting Fashion Bug because they are going out of business soon. I'm going tonight , hoping to fit in a size 8 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
