bandedsheree 17 Posted November 16, 2012 Hubbie and I are going away this wk end and Hotel is doing supper and Breakfast, I do not want to gain weight, but also don't want to be a party pooper. Any advice cheers
Toddy 758 Posted November 16, 2012 There is no reason you should be a party pooper. You can eat, just make wise choices and very small portions and bites. Chances are no one will even notice and if they do say something, be honest and tell them you're trying yo lose weight! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Maddysgram 6,159 Posted November 16, 2012 Yes, if you're on a regular diet there's no reason you can't go and have a good time. I'm sure there will be healthy choices for breakfast & dinner. Eat slow, chew a lot, Protein first, veggies& good carbs. Isn't it funny how we relate being away as a food thing? Enjoy your surrounding company , where you're at, who you're with and only eat for nutrition, not as entertainment. Have a wonderful time! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
wildrose1966 396 Posted November 16, 2012 I travel for work and probably spend 3 months of the year in hotels and eating out. If you are on a regular diet, you can eat anything, just make smart choices. Have fun.

☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted November 16, 2012 if you want, have some healthy (on the go Snacks with you) Protein bars, nuts, veggies/fruit....and of course there are options available to put into you bottled Water (crystal light and so on if you like that)..... but like the others, you are not on a diet....eat your allotted amount and choose to eat. and dont over think it. 1 Maddysgram reacted to this
