So for anyone who is counting calories..how many do you eat and how do you divide them in the day? Also, I am weaning off one anti depressant and starting a new one at the same time... I feel withdrawal symptoms and think it's making me STARVING like an overwhelming urge to jam food in my face, but not any food of course, sweets like Cookies and candy..is this part of the withdrawal or maybe the band needs to be tightened- i havent had a problem with restriction till now- any ideas?? (btw I am in no way an emotional eater?

if you are hungry, eat more Protein as to make you feel fuller......with calories (mine is most likely not as much as someone who is more active as i cant run 2 miles or bike the grand canyon)

have you talked to your nutritionist and set your caloric guidelines with them?

I ate 1000 calories per day. I divided that by 3 meals @ 300 ...give or take and 1 or 2 low cal Snacks. At each meal I ate 3 oz protien and tried to get in 1/2 c veggies / salad and 1/4c starch. That number may or may not work for you. When you get a new NUT or Dr I would get their opinion

I'm close to 1200-1400 calories per day, with Breakfast being the small one, then lunch and the most calories, dinner time. I drink a Protein Shake breakfast (add fruit type) and lunch with small chicken salad. Steamed veggies with tuna or chicken at dinner.

Beans, cheeses, eggs any greek yogurt are good Protein choices. Plus if you eat seafood tuna and salmon are great.

I eat 1200 calories a day, usually divided between 3 meals & 1 snack. I track my food on myfitnesspal. My user name is ajtexas0 send me a friend request & you can see my diary.

Good luck to you.
