Summerrain 520 Posted November 12, 2012 Alcohol is fine by my nutritionist and surgeon but of course in moderation.

guadocookie 3 Posted November 12, 2012 I can't do beer or cider anymore. Flavored vodka (usually Stoli Orange) and Water with two limes makes me happy! Very low calorie!!
kll724 3,055 Posted November 12, 2012 I am a cheap date since surgery. I can tolerate some white wine. I drink wine if I am having a drink. I did have a nice Amarato on ice a couple weeks back. I am 3 years out, so if you drink, make sure that you are careful of the amounts. My son, who had surgery in Aug 2011, drank for Christmas party last year and got totally blasted on a small amount. Best wishes for the upcoming holidays. Karen

CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted November 12, 2012 Take it slow. It hit me hard the time I tried, but then I have always been a cheap drunk. One glass of wine makes me go woowoo! I decided it was wasted calories that I could use on something better for me 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
