Dawn200321 146 Posted November 10, 2012 So as of this morning I have lost 100 pounds! According to MFP anyways. When I started my journey I promised myself that when I lost 100 pounds I would dig out my old photos and finally look at them. I did this today and I have to say all I did was cry...how could I have ever let myself get so big? I looked awful. None the less I had to look at the pictures to remind myself why I had surgery and why I can NEVER go back. So am I the only one who weeps at old photos of themselves or am I not alone. Thanks for reading...I just had to get my feelings out to folks who would understand...as my.family really doesnt 4 PattyGirl66, Angelizz10, SinCityGal and 1 other reacted to this

I just wanna say that I LOVE this site. It has been great motivation over the last year to be able to keep going! Thanks for reading...I just had to get my feelings out to folks who would understand...as my.family really doesnt I don't weep at photos....I am happy as a clam that I am thin. I keep my avatar on this site as a constant reminder of how horrible I looked and felt. I do weep with mixed emotions at other things tho, today I was in my new favorite consignment shop. I was trying on a Lily Pulitzer tunic sweater. It was beautiful but just not my style. I was walking around with it maybe because it was $ 4.97 and I know it was in last years catalog for $ 148 !!! But it just wasn't my thing. I tried it on twice and 2 ladies were just oozing about it. I was like.... I don't think it's my style. One of them said...well you are so small so you can wear just about anything....hearing that is not what I am used to. I thanked then and handed them the sweater to fight over and my eyes welled up.... I am so overwhelmed by the success of the band and my effort it just it blows me away sometimes. So enjoy it.... It will keep getting better. Congrats on your success! 1 Bruce1965 reacted to this
