Actually for a low carb day, your fat is fine! In fact you did really good overall!

Do you struggle to get in calories on low carb days? I do big time, I'm just full all the time.

Yes, low carb days are hard for me as well calorie wise. I do find low carb days easier to manage then I do high carb days. I feel like I eat like a pig on high carb days. Funny I thought when I started this I would look forward to high carb days but I don't.

Band has not just changed my body. It has changed my mind...

I HATE these high carb days!!! :( :( :(

They're so much harder for me than the low carb days because I really let myself go. Also by the low carb days I have a very clear idea of what I CAN'T eat, so it's way easier for me to make good choices.

so far today I ate

912 calories

91g carbs

And I still have a wedding to go to, so i'll be lucky if I'll keep my calories below ~1200.

I usually like to keep 'em below 1000....

I use the snipping tools built into Windows 7. It is under accessories. I snipped the header and then snipped the totals and pasted and lined them up in paint. Saved it and uploaded it.

I was a little discouraged with Lose It. It seems there database of food is not as good or should I say accurate as myfitnesspal and when you add foods it has to go through an approval process. I do like the reporting options better in Lose It but for me I would rather have the accuracy of MFP.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
