aaamom 0 Posted April 4, 2006 So can you !!! Just got back from visiting my dad in the hospital. He had surgery at 1:30 today and was sitting up talking, no pain meds, cracking jokes as usual. He said he felt as if he could eat a pizza right now !!!! He was getting ready to get out of bed and walk as I was leaving. I am just sooooo proud of him, words can't express. He was so brave to do this at his age. He felt he needed to get his weight under control to live a few more years. I hope a couple more decades at least. So for those about to have surgery, think about my 'ol man. He should be the poster child for the Band !!!!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
