A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted November 5, 2012 It is totally normal. Please don't worry about your weight right now as it isn't time to lose, it's time to heal. Also, my belly itched like mad around then and I bought some hydrocotisone spray at Walgreens that helped a lot. Good luck and congrats! 1 lee72 reacted to this

secondchancesally 43 Posted November 18, 2012 I'm 4 weeks out. The first 2 weeks I could barely eat and really lost. This past week I have NO problem eating 1200cal per day, and NO weight loss. But I do notice restriction. I really can't eat more than a cup at a time. And although. 1200 seems to be a decent amount for weight loss, it is SO much less than the portions I used to eat that I thought weight would be flying off. 1 lee72 reacted to this

When I spoke to my nutritionist, she said it's a defense mechanism from your body. It's almost trying to hold on to your weight since some of it was lost so quickly in the prior weeks. Now that I am in week 5/6, I am starting to see the numbers change finally. But I was stuck for two weeks and it made no sense! Just like you, I couldn't believe how eating 1000-1200 (so much less than I used to eat) wasn't making any difference. 1 lee72 reacted to this
