acoleman380 23 Posted November 3, 2012 Hi everyone, my name is Angela and I am being banded on Thursday Nov 8. I have been reading, reading, and reading some more on this forum for weeks trying to soak up all of the info that I can. Im so nervous but excited at the same time. I have had 2 c-sections so I know a little about the pain part of it. Im a little worried about the gas though as I get gas pains already normally without surgery..lol. Anyway...my question is, how does everyone get their Protein in while on the clear liquid phase? I know I wont be very hungry because I will be swollen but I cant imagine not getting weak or lightheaded if just drinking Water or Clear liquids for a few days. GodsTyro 63 Posted November 4, 2012 While on liquid phase Protein Shakes are how you get the Protein, however if you are like me ( I'm only 4 days in) I am not hungry at all and wouldn't be able to stomach protein shakes so I am taking milk because its high in protein and its the protein needed for healing Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bandedsheree 17 Posted November 4, 2012 Hi I was banded Oct 1st not going to lie wind pain I got was neck shoulder, take windease, but best thing is a walk, I take rocky road 24gms protien Whey.... First few days thought what have I done, but I have dropped a stone, and going for my fist fill wed...
